I have got to stop wishing my life away....another weekend come and gone! I enjoy my time off from work, and tomorrow is the start of a new work week. Gahhhhh! If only we didn't have to eat, pay bills...
I really have nothing interesting to post about, but I feel like I am neglecting this space so I'm just going to ramble on about nothing to fill up the page.
Graduations are taking place this month, on Friday we had one in Lincoln, our oldest granddaughter graduated from nursing school, and next Sunday her sister graduates from high school. My two oldest (2 of my bio-kids) from Colo., and the middle one (my 3rd bio-kid) and wife from eastern NE will be home next weekend for that so all of the kiddies will be together.
I am hoping the weather holds up! It's been a whirlwind of up and down temperatures so far since the beginning of April, and here it's the 5th of May...oh...Happy Cinco de Mayo! Anyway it was fairly nice today, windy of course. Sounds like we are in store for some thunderstorms mid-week. I have my seeds and starter plants ready to go into the ground but the temps drop at night and not sure if there is still a chance of a freeze. The produce is going to be later again this year, later even than last year. Hopefully I'll have better luck with my tomatoes, oh my plants looked beautiful last year, so green and big...but hardly any fruit on them. Well I just remembered that I set my plants out to get some sun today, and they are still outside. Better bring them in or I won't have to worry about planting later this week.
toodles!
